Where Do We Hunt? We have a very large hunting area, which offers a lot of different types of terrain the hunting area includes app. 90,000 ac. of private lease land as well as a national forest permit in the Lewis and Clark National Forest. The Castles, Little Belts and the Big Belt Mountains are all part of our hunting area.

About The Bear! About 50% of the bear in our area are color phase. The average weights of spring bear falls between 150 and 300 lb.

How Do We Hunt? Our hunts are all fully guided. All of our hunting is done by Spot and Stalk Method. We do not bait or use dogs to hunt bear. We hunt both morning and evening. The evening hunt seems to be the most productive. Good optics are a must, as we do a lot of glassing to locate bear grazing on lush green grass along warm springs. Also NO BUGS.

We are professional guides and when you book a hunt with us we have only one target in mind: to ensure safe, enjoyable and successful hunt.  After you get your bear, there are lots of things to do. Some hunters like to go hunting for gophers, coyotes, and badgers.
